The big news of the day come from the Domain King, Rick Schwartz:
There will most likely be a non-sponsored event in 2011.
In other words, in that event Rick will welcome domainers only, all while the big corporations and domain-related companies will be shown the door at that particular event!
Now, isn’t that what Jason “DNPinmping” and Morgan Linton have been doing successfully for months with the Southern California Domainers conference?
Here’s the quote from Rick Schwartz’s email of today:
In 2011, T.R.A.F.F.I.C. is strongly considering the possibility of having a “Non Sponsored” event. That means NO SPONSORS! Domainers only. The purpose is to keep the advertising and commercial part out and the ideas in. It could be a very controversial event, but we are DETERMINED to put on a domainer only show in 2011, to discuss where we are, where we have been, where we are going and what is the best way of getting there. We will do that without Registrars, PPC companies, SEO “experts” or Developers, or any other company selling something to us.
The TRAFFIC South Beach conference price increases after July 31st, so this is your last chance to register at the low price of $1,295 per ticket – the price excludes visits to the infamous Miami strip clubs.

Jason and Morgan welcome a sponsored dinner. .”considers” is a big word. Many a hot girl “considered” going out with me but only my wife took me up on it.
Shane, Rick said that he strongly considers. 😀
I can’t wait until the days of teleportation arrive 😀 Beam me up Scotty, Southern California here I come!
How can you tell s/he comes in as a fake domainer -while working for some company?
Will there be a X-ray room where he can screen out the real domainers and the fakers?
BullS – Good question. I think that dental records will be used.
I will be there with naked chicks and a big fat ass joint. But I’m not paying $1300 to get in! lol

Is a domainer who has actually developed a website welcome?
DC – surely that was a slip of the proverbial tongue 🙂 I’m sure domainer-developers are welcome.
