Coco & Co runs on .NYC
After a chance meeting during hurricane Sandy, Yair & Luke started Coco & Co – a company that harnesses the power of the sun and creates moments of joy over coconuts on the streets of NYC.
It appears that not only CocoAndCo.com was taken, but the obvious “domain hack” CocoAnd.co as well.
Forget about the direct keyword, Coconuts.com, long gone. So is Coconuts.co.
With that in mind, the two New Yorker founders grabbed a fresh gTLD off the menu: .NYC.
The domain Coconuts.NYC was a smart decision and an affordable one, for the Brooklyn business.
Thousands of businesses are now able to utilize meaningful new domains on new gTLDs without breaking the bank for a domain.
