Spending capital to get generic domains, also known as “generics” to the domainer crowd, is a strategy implemented non-stop by savvy domain investors.
Some great domains changed hands recently, and we are here to share what we’ve found.
Joshua Schoen, of UltraDomains, acquired the premium, generic domain Nurture.com. This great verb was registered in 1998. The previous owners appear to have been Steelcase, Inc.
Meanwhile, James Booth of Phenom.com, acquired three ultra premium, generic domains:
It’s interesting to note that Woke.com, a word indicating “awareness” and “being alert to injustice in society, especially racism,” was listed for $495,000 dollars previously.
