Spaceship has rolled out the beta version of its Seller Hub platform, available to customers at Spaceship.com.
The domain registrar enabled the Seller Hub to select accounts, looking for participation of large domain portfolios.
Our first take at the Spaceship Seller Hub is positive, taking into consideration the fact that it’s under development and not a finished product.
That being said, Spaceship founder Richard Kirkendall reported some recent sales that involved retail buyers that completed via the Seller Hub platform:
coworker.ai – $45,000
pax.ai – $45,000
remark.ai – $50,000
squad.ai – $45,000
survive.ai – $50,000
We seized on the opportunity to find out more details about updates, FAQ, and what’s coming up next. Mr. Kirkendall took some time to answer our questions.
DG: Negotiations take place via the “chat” room. Once an agreement is made, what’s disclosed about each party?
Richard Kinkerdall: The buyer’s name and country location are shared with the seller. No personal information is disclosed to either party after the sale.
DG: So it’s a sale recorded as a transaction between buyer and seller, or is it a sale to/by Spaceship?
Richard Kinkerdall: The invoice comes from Spaceship to either party.
DG: How are domains not at Spaceship managed, if an account push was necessary?
Richard Kinkerdall: Auth codes or a push to one of our accounts at the holding registrar would do the job.
DG: What payment options are available (PayPal, bank wire, credit card, etc.)
Richard Kinkerdall: Standard payment options for the buyer that we offer at Spaceship for any transaction, including wire and crypto payments.
DG: What’s coming up next to Seller Hub?
Richard Kinkerdall: Next in line are bulk modifications for both domains and leads; then lease to own (LTO) immediately after. We will continue to add features based on feedback and needs.
Many thanks to Richard for this fast response to our questions about the Spaceship Seller Hub!
