Another LL .com sells to the Chinese! The domain FW.com has changed ownership, moving from the Domain Capital inventory to China.
The domain’s movement was recorded by Canadian domain investor, George Kirikos, who updated the LL .com statistics in a tweet:
By my count, registrants from China now own 209 of the 676 elite 2-letter dot-com domains (30.9%).
USA ownership drops to 307 (45.4%).
Chinese domain investors and businesses in China still pay top dollar for short, two letter .com domains as brands.
While the average cost to acquire an LL .com domain has dropped since its peak point two years ago, some letter combinations leverage top dollar still.
