The latest sale by Telepathy.com that we came across involves the three letter domain UIG.com (uig.com.)
Registered in 1998, UIG.com now forwards to Utility Innovation Group, and the domain UtilityInnovation.com in particular. The company operates energy and other utility services.
Per their web site:
“Using our decentralized energy and microgrid experience, we’re shaping the future of electric infrastructure and building the carbon-free grid of tomorrow.”
The beauty of three letter .com domains lies in their ability to serve as acronyms to a large range of corporate brands; this case of domain rebranding reinforces that sentiment.
