Vistaprint has acquired Crello, Depositphotos and has rebranded as Vista, operating from the domain Vista.com.
This domain rebranding case is bigger news than Facebook becoming Meta, in our opinion.
The acquisition of Depositphotos and Crello – an online graphic design editor – cost $85 million dollars. The new service powered by Crello will be called VistaCreate.
Vista will now be in a better position to compete with Canva on the online creative business market.
The domain Vista.com was registered in 1994 and it was acquired by Vistaprint in 2007 for the sum of $1.25 million dollars. Source: NameBio.
