Bradley Manning wants to become Chelsea.
A few days ago we pointed out that a support network for Wikileaks whistle blower, Bradley Manning, would have to change its name and domain name.
The reason: Bradley Manning, who was sentenced to 35 years in prison and was demoted to private, wants to proceed with a gender change.
Bradley’s new name: Chelsea Elizabeth Manning.
Not surprisingly, the operators of BradleyManning.com are going through the process of rebranding:
“…the Bradley Manning Support Network is changing its name to the Private Manning Support Network, and will work on changing other frequently used parts of its website and materials to incorporate the name Chelsea and the female pronoun. However, completing this process may take some time.”
Sure enough, the domain name ChelseaManning.org which was registered the day of our article, is now showing in transfer at Sedo.
Apparently, whoever registered it has sold it. We’ll have to wait until next week to see how much the domain was sold for, and who is the new owner.
