A lot of people, domainers included, fail to realize that ‘WordPress‘ is a registered trademark.
One of the basic functions of trademark registration, is the owner’s obligation to defend it, should they become aware of an infringement.
Such violations occur quite often in the world of domains, and when one registers domains that incorporate ‘WordPress‘ they most likely infringe on this famous mark.
In a UDRP against the Registrant of the domain name, WordPress.info, the Complainant – WordPress Foundation – prevailed against the unnamed Respondent, who hid behind WHOIS shield.
Registered in 2004, WordPress.info was kept mostly ‘under construction’ by its Japanese registrant, though the years.
The WordPress Foundation is aggressively protecting its marks, given the fact that the WordPress software platform is used by more than 22% of the top 10 million web sites on the Internet.
You can read about the UDRP decision at the National Arbitration Forum.

Used incorrectly, “Blogger” is also a TM.
“I am a blogger” = not TM
“I use ‘Blogger'” = TM
