The $200,000 dollar domain sale took place on Afternic but only after a $50,000 dollar transaction fell through six months ago.
Thanking his ghosting buyer from 1/2 year ago, domain investor Barman shared the news about his only .AI domain—now sold—via X:

According to Namebio, Zip.ai was acquired by the seller in 2021 for $1,610 dollars—a phenomenal ROI. The sale of Zip.ai now matches Please.ai as the 8th highest .AI sale of all time.
