Hello domainer darlings, this is Bina Bitterman – the Domain Socialite, and I’m feeling so fabulous tonight.
It’s hard to imagine having to live anywhere but in New York, the lack of a great Metropolitan influence would drive me insane! Although I am fond of fabulous European destinations for the elite jet set; that, I must confess.
I am a trend-setter, darlings, not a follower.
Yesterday, I received an invitation from a fan of my column, asking me to cover a domain conference taking place in Lexington, Kentucky.
Domain darlings, when you invite me places, make sure they end with “France“, for example Paris, France or Cannes, France – or even, Marseille, France, despite its decline in recent years.
I hope you get the point.
European domain conferences are tres shick, and Domaining Europe takes place very soon in Valencia, Spain. Unfortunately, I cannot attend because it’s also the time for the great Gucci Gala; the fashion show will be fabulous and an absolute delight to cover.
Sweethearts, when you cannot be part of an elite circle of fashion or other professionals, please do not throw a tantrum talking down the very circle you are turned down for. It’s quite juvenile and speaks volumes about your inability to handle rejection, among other things.
Lastly, I am delighted to hear that Fashion.tv sold for six figures, it’s sales like this that make shopping at Fifth Avenue worthy. I just spent half that amount already on a Hermes handbag and a pair of Louboutin, darlings, so keep domaining. You have bills to pay.
