Rick Latona reaches the summit of Kilimanjaro where the glaciers are no more

I have to congratulate Rick Latona for his environmentalist agenda.

In a recent post at RickLatona.com he appears concerned about recent news of the Kilimanjaro glaciers becoming extinct in the very near future. There’s also a picture of Rick posing on the Kilimanjaro summit – a great feat nonetheless; the tallest mountain I’ve ever climbed was five times shorter. Ok, so I was a boy scout at that time.

So Rick makes references to “Kilimanjaro glaciers” and links to his web site Kili2010.com – the real question that pops to mind is, why didn’t he register KilimanjaroGlaciers.com which – up to this moment – is still available?

  1. Because the kilimanjaro glaciers will be extinct soon. So it makes no sense to register that name 🙂

On April 1, 2010 – A group of forwarding thinking environmentalists will be flying to Hawaii in a cargo plane laden with four tons of fresh dirt. The initiative is being launched to help raise awareness to the fact that Hawaii is slowly sinking. Anyone that is willing to ride along with us in this first historic soil shipment, is more than welcome. If you can’t make the trip, then you can still contribute by simply mailing us a coffee can full of fresh soil. Together we can make a difference.
