Chinese hackers steal more domains from GoDaddy account

After a seemingly short pause, the Chinese hackers that infiltrate GoDaddy accounts using phishing emails hit again.

This time, four three character domains were stolen from an account of a DNForum domain investor, who is not a rookie.

The domains are 5nk.com, 5bv.com, 5nu.com, and 5bk.com.

These stolen domains were “deleted” from the owner’s GoDaddy account and were moved to the usual suspect, Chinese domain registrar Ename, where they are being offered for sale.

Ename maintains a domain selling marketplace where domains of dubious ownership are often peddled at low prices. Ename has been very hard to deal with, across several cases of domain theft.

The domain owner has posted the following picture depicting his account at GoDaddy, where the domains were recently renewed.

Update: As of 1/6/2015 these domains appear to have been returned to their rightful owner.

Well you can add my c73.com to these stolen domains, same story hacked my godaddy account, transfered to Chinese registrar ENAME.com on nov-17-2014 and godaddy doing nothing about it, find it hard to believe our fbi and ICANN can not find a way to protect our domains and get them back to us, and show these Chinese hackers and ENAME accredited registrar from ICANN some muscle, searching on Google for anzaixuan associated as registrant for most of these stolen domains found out that 8tm.com and 2bz.com moved back on godaddy.com on jan-24-2015 wonder how is that? Or did the original owner got them back, maybe someone will find out and let us know.

Thank you for publishing this news. Sadly, this continues.

Good news – Great people at DNF, their suggestions and directions helped recover with help from GD and Verisign this January’15.

Thank you 🙂 Got many things changed in the accounts settings ! Too cautious on such mails … (not even replying to any mail from chinese IP) 😀
