While you were goofing around, this man hand-registered Credit.Club

You were busy goofing around: talking about that glitter junk domain on Flippa, or arguing whether Francois sold Domaining.com or not.

You know who you are.

But while you were wasting time on petty stuff, Bruce Marler hand-registered and launched Credit.Club.

That is correct: hand-registered a meaningful, strong gTLD that is about to kick ass in the search engines, just like Coffee.Club and others do.

Bruce Marler – Developer and owner of Credit.Club

Let’s hear it from the man, who along with wife Tiffany presented a pair of educational seminars on WordPress development during NamesCon.

DomainGang: Bruce, tell us all about it. How did you register Credit.Club by hand just a week ago?

Bruce Marler: Well, I was just checking out some premium prices on .club domains, every finance domain is in the 5 figures plus, or taken already. I happened to see that somehow – as a miracle – that CREDIT.club was available at reg fee. Makes zero sense, I know. So I bought it.

DomainGang: Indeed, this is insane and extremely lucky. Are you still in disbelief?

Bruce Marler: I was in a frickin’ shock to be quite honest. I kept checking my account to make sure I got it. For reg fee I cannot complain, yes it was a very lucky strike.

DomainGang: What did you do next with Credit.Club ?

Bruce Marler: I was in the middle of NamesCon to flying home, then back out to other cities. I travel a lot this time of the year. This past weekend I had the chance to actually build Credit.Club, using the same principles Tiffany and I described during our NamesCon presentations.

DomainGang: That’s rapid development, no doubt. You’ve already uploaded quality content that will deliver good search engine placement. Do you plan to keep the domain forever?

Bruce Marler: My intent is to sell the domain, eventually. With lending/credit p2p finance being a growing area this domain is as good as any finance domain for .club that exists. If the site grows in revenue the site can be considered a business venture, but at this point it’s a domain investment.

DomainGang: Awesome approach. I see you already have secured the matching twitter handle, @CreditDotClub.

Bruce Marler: Yep. Twitter is the #1 social medium for interactive promotion and I was able to repurpose an older handle for this project.

DomainGang: Thank you Bruce for sharing this exciting news with us. Best of success to your Credit.Club project!
