Horrible logo: get one like these for $5 bucks.
No-one in their right mind would want to pay “beer money” for a logo created for their company. Those that do, are simply ignorant.
Usually, those “$5 dollar logo” wonders are made by untalented students looking for some spare pocket money, or individuals residing in countries such as Pakistan and China where five bucks buys you the day’s family meal. Not to mention, that one risks getting a logo that was plagiarized or even outright stolen from another brand or design, when those non-professionals tackle the job.
One way or another, for five bucks you’ll end up getting a horrible logo.
Still, the guy who runs HorribleLogos.com does not pretend to be a designer: for $5 you get a logo “guranteed to suck!” 🙂
Surprisingly, his creations – done for five bucks or a beer a pop – possess a lot of humor in their simplistic, doodle quality. They are drawn on paper with a sharpie, and for five bucks, you get what you pay for: a horrible logo! 😀
On the other hand, if you want some quality logo design work, you need to invest in a decent budget: from $150 to $300.
