Just like every other smart domainer out there, we’re always on the lookout for good deals in domain registrations.
Retail pricing for GoDaddy domains is almost 50% higher than other registrars – including the newcomer, NameBright.
So what do you do in order to get better pricing at GoDaddy?
You use coupon codes.
Some GoDaddy coupon codes bring the cost of domain registration as low as $1.99 plus the 18 cent ICANN fee. While most of the codes can be used once, others, particularly those that offer a percentage discount, can be used multiple times.
We’ve found that the best place to locate those GoDaddy coupon codes isn’t at random domain blogs or other such “coupon code” web sites, that most of the time stuff their links with affiliate id cookies.
The best place to find GoDaddy coupon codes is by far, NamePros – in particular, this thread which is updated almost daily and we highly recommend it.

Yes, it’s an excellent thread. I subscribe to it and receive new codes everyday. Then I store them in a database setting the Code column as unique. After I have used a code, I place a check mark next to it, so everyday when I update my code table redundant codes are not entered into the table. The codes have helped me save quite a bit of money.
RenewalCodes.com is my go-to site first. A lot of the ones I find on the blogs don’t work but the ones at RC almost always work at least once for me (and the renewal one repeatedly). Once I use up the ones there I use the blogs and NP.
Defiantly the best place to go for GoDaddy coupons.. Updates nearly every day
Thanks @Matthew for the RenewalCodes.com website link!
