Since a year ago, the ICM Registry has managed to stir the stagnant domain waters on several levels.
After launching .XXX – the first and only adult TLD – the Florida company that fought against the conservative administration of GW Bush and won, is at it again.
“We’re looking for the perfect XXX girl, someone fresh, sassy and worthy of being the industry’s spokesperson,” said the ICM Registry CEO, Stuart Lawley.
“No, we aren’t going to have a raunchy campaign, this is not how we do business. But if you think you’re Playboy or even Hustler material, we’d like to hear from you,” he added.
With the economy in dire straits, particularly in the state of Florida, thousands of eligible young women aged 18 and up are expected to apply for the position.
“Saw a facebook comment by my bff and I was like, wow, this could be me, you know?” said a very excitable Mandy P. from the University of Miami. “It’s like, instant recognition and I do want to be a model after college, and stuff!” she exclaimed.
Other applicants are expected to flock in from local universities and colleges, such as UCF. Applicants do not have to be Florida natives in order to apply, but a full year of Florida residency is required for employment purposes. Foreign nationals must be in possession of a valid work visa or green card – no exceptions.
The campaign was temporarily given the pet name “XXX for Success” and while not official yet, the name will definitely stick.
