Uniregistry is releasing the much-anticipated update of its Android app, enabling full access for all users of the Uniregistry Market on Android devices. Users can buy, manage, and sell valuable domain names through a modern interface coupled with a thoughtful negotiation process, culminating in the final sale.
What makes this unique in the domain space is that it can all be done from a mobile application. “It’s been a while in the making, but now Android users no longer need to be tethered to your desk. Deal with your inquiries on the beach, at dinner, or even while out for a run,” says Product Manager Darren Cornwell. “Sales are predicated on interest and discussion, both of which dwindle the longer you wait. The ability to respond in real time to a potential buyer, coupled with instant notifications means sellers can exponentially increase their chances of making a sale.”
The new update supports both buying and selling which is done via instant sales or a negotiation between the two parties. Users can—after completing a negotiation—enter their payment, and for many deals this uses Uniregistry’s proprietary SSE (Secure Exchange). The process completes instantly whereby the seller receives the funds and the buyer receives the domain name. It’s a very modern and simple approach to a complex problem.
Along with domain sales, Uniregistry has added full domain parking support. This includes the ability to access parking reports, set up Sales Landing Pages and take complete control over how a name is displayed and negotiated on.
Along with the Market, the app has received updates to the registrar portion of the platform, giving users unprecedented access to their domains, settings, cross access into the Market, and a UI update.
