If you’re an active investor of the Indian TLD .in beware: the Indian government might decide that your domain is used in a manner that’s immoral or obscene.
The word “lund” in Hindi means “penis” and apparently to own one in the .in TLD is a crime in India, so Lund.in was recently repossessed by the Indian government.
It also took them six years to realize that the domain was “obscene”, as it was registered in 2005.
Adam Dicker, former owner of the domain name laughed the incident off, stating how could this be obscene when half the country of India or more than 500 million people own one!
Meanwhile, the sculptures of Khajuraho in India are world-renowned for their intricate detail of sexual positions like a Kamasutra “on the rocks” – with lots of “lund” in plain view. 😀
Let me get this straight…
Are you saying that “Dicker” got his “Lund” repossessed??
This is the funniest humor I’ve ever heard in my entire life!!!
Rahul – Reality is often funnier than intentional comedy 🙂
How does the Indian population become so big without Penis?
Wow!!! Unbelievable news!!!
I’m sure that our Indian Government must have felt that the combination of “Dicker” owning “Lund” was obscene in of in itself!!
And you thought our MetroPCS commercials were bad???
Sincerely,
Ranjit & Chad
