During the Domainfest after hours party, as reported at DNJournal, Vern Jurovich, Jeff Gabriel and Bill Lozada all shaved their heads in order for donations to be pledged for The Water School.
Later on, after several drinks and long discussions about the state of the bad economy, Ron Jackson and uber-domainer Frank Schilling decided to join the club, thus earning their “bald domainer” status.
The move by Ron Jackson and Frank Schilling was applauded by Oversee, organizers of Domainfest, thus adding several thousand dollars to the fund collected for the Water School.
Ron Jackson and Frank Schilling shaved their heads to help raise money for a good cause.
“We are ecstatic”, said Ron Jackson. “I now look like Samuel L. Jackson, suave and ready for action”, he added with a broad smile.
“I could not agree more”, said Frank Schilling, sipping on a glass of red wine. “I just need to work on my scalp tan a bit though”, he added.
Both domainers were given skin moisturizers by Nivea, the German company that allegedly acquired 10% of Sedo.
Diana has been telling me for a long time that my hairstyle was “dated” and that I might want to consider a “new look”. Talk about killing two birds with one stone! In addition to the stylish coiffure just think how much I am going to save on hair care products alone! I am pumped!! In this business it never hurts to look like Frank’s older twin brother either!
Ron – Glad to hear that Diana approves 😀 Not many know this, but I shaved my head last summer. The ladies kept calling until my hair grew back. So now I know what to do next time!
