Frank Sztupp, ICANN member of the Swiss branch in Zurich, missed all the action earlier today, during the gTLD launch.
“I felt asleep during the opening ceremonies and missed the fanfare, so sad!” exclaimed Sztupp, who is an avid yoddler and domainer.
“In my sleep, I dreamed of being back in 1992 and all the good domains were still available, this way we would not have to go through this embarrassing mess!” he added.
Other ICANN members that missed the ceremony include Niklas Faaarvson of Finland who passed away two days ago in his sleep, and Ming Tsu of China who is being held against her will by the Chinese government.
