Do you use Klout, the social ranking service? We don’t use it regularly, but apparently millions of others do.
Klout ranks your social prowess on a scale of 0 to 100.
It seems that we need to be paying more attention to it though, as the company is very close to being acquired by Lithium Technologies, for a cash and stock deal worth at least $100,000,000 dollars.
The deal is closed but not yet signed, according to sources.
Klout raised $30 million dollars in a Series C investment round, and provides a scoring system for companies and individuals to help determine their influence in social media.
On a scale of 0 to 100, our Klout score is 25. 🙁
