If you enjoy beer as we do, you’re going to love the new .Co.com marketing campaign.
Aimed at domain investors with a taste for zythum, the marketing campaign utilizes the resemblance of Ken Hansen, CEO of the .Co.Com Registry, to the popular Dos Equis guy.
“It started off as a prank, but we thought it’d attract most of the beer-loving crowd to taste our domain offerings,” said Paul Goldstone, president of the .Co.Com Registry.
“With every 2 domains you register, you get a beer cap of Dot Equis; after you collect a dozen, you get a free beer on us,” added Goldstone, smiling.
The Dot Equis campaign currently appears on Playboy magazine, Popular Mechanics Weekly and Muscle & Fitness.
