Jamie of DotWeekly churns out lots of interesting discoveries daily, about domains that have been sold to corporate entities or brokered by major domain venues.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Through all this digging, some gems turn up on occasion, and some are funnier than others.
One of these, is the domain name iris.com; without a doubt, a true gem that even horticulture domainers would wet their hoses over.
The domain iris.com was registered in 1991, during the paleolithic era of the domain universe.
For the past 8 years at least, iris.com has displayed “this domain is not for sale” in some shape or form.
The current version states, however that “iris.com is still not for sale. please stop asking.”
Hopefully that makes it clear enough for any potential suitors of this beautiful domain. 😀
Still makes me laugh!
