George Zimmerman.

After being acquitted for Trayvon Martin’s untimely death, George Zimmerman tried hard to avoid the public’s eye.

Somehow, this has been impossible to behold.

Personal family arguments, eBay art auctions and an overall attitude have led to several instances that bring George Zimmerman to news focus.

A new incident that happened on Monday resulted in the light injury of George Zimmerman from broken glass, as he was shot at while in his car in Florida.

According to news outlets, there was a heated argument with another male, over the importance of gTLD domains in the new Internet namespace, particularly the booming dot .XYZ.

George Zimmerman is a strong supporter of dot .com and the other party was apparently furious that their registration of several dot .XYZ domains was referred to as “worthless crap” by Zimmerman.

“Mr. Zimmerman was the victim of a ruthless provocation, and we’re taking this assault very seriously,” said Police commissioner Frank Frazzle of the LMPD.

While the perpetrator of the shooting is still at large, Zimmerman says he might revise his position on .XYZ and other gTLDs if he’s given a job at a domain registrar – something that most likely won’t happen.

Meanwhile, the XYZ Registry is projecting reaching 1,000,000 registrations before the June 2nd anniversary.
