Neustar, the domain and network technology services company, maintains a strong presence in Australia.
It comes as no surprise, that the company has filed a UDRP against the registrant of the domain Neustar.com.au.
Neustar is the systems provider and back-end registry operator for many new gTLDs and primarily operates from the domain Neustar.biz.
The company also owns the domain Neustar.com, along with the .net and .org; the latter 2 were acquired via the UDRP process.
The current registrant of Neustar.com.au appears to have held it since 2014.
Neustar is a registered trademark with the USPTO, and its matching trademark application with the Australian trademark office was filed in 2016, but it’s still pending.
Being holders of a distinct, fanciful mark, we anticipate Neustar to prevail in this ongoing UDRP, filed at the WIPO.
