The premium, aged domain name MemorialDay.com is clearly going to waste.
Undeveloped after 24 years, this 1996 registration does not even resolve.
In 2017, MemorialDay.com showed a basic page about the meaning of “Memorial Day” sharing content about the fallen soldiers that are commemorated on this day.
But not in recent years.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the US, honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. The holiday is now observed on the last Monday of May, having been observed on May 30 from 1868 to 1970.
Alas, it’s not the only major US holiday domain to not show something of substance.
Along with VeteransDay.com, HappyThansgiving.com and PearlHarbor.com, MemorialDay.com is not fulfilling its potential as an internet destination.
