Universal Studios – Bad domain letters don’t scare us

Sometimes domaining is one big massacre of blood and gore.

If you haven’t heard of the Halloween Horror Nights that take place every year at the Universal Studios in Florida and California, you need to break away a little bit from the family-safe Disney experience.

Geared towards adults mostly, the event is too intense for young kids and even teenagers, as it combines the various blood-splattering imagery of films produced by Universal: Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and more.

For the past 19 years, Halloween Horror Nights has provided a lot of scary entertainment; just like Super Bowl, the annual event uses Latin numerals: this year it’s “XX” for the 20th anniversary of the event.

Naturally, Universal owns HHNXX.com which at first sight it looks like a rather crappy 5-letter .com – however, it’s a convenient acronym to this year’s event and it forwards to the official web site at HalloweenHorrorNights.com

Halloween Horror Nights XX runs from September 24-25 through September 30-October 1-3, 7-10, 14-17, 20-24 and 27-31.

See you there!
