GoDaddy shuts down Dan’s integration with Efty

GoDaddy is shutting down the integration of the Dan.com platform with Efty.

Effective today, Efty.com will no longer work with Dan.com as the integration is disabled due to a unilateral decision made by GoDaddy.com.

Efty sent out a notice:

“GoDaddy will discontinue the Dan.com Integrator service as of September 5, 2024. Efty was its first integrator, and the partnership signaled to the market that collaboration between aftermarket players to deliver more value for sellers was possible.”

Also today, GoDaddy is effectively raising its fees at Afternic under the pretext of a “boosted” service that automatically opts in all accounts for an additional 5% in fees.

Accounts that opt out of Afternic Boost aren’t exactly certain what they’ll miss out on, as the performance of the service is neither tested nor guaranteed.

News kudos @J Hunter Graves
