Domain registrar DirectNic has dropped Talkwithwebvisitor.com, an arch-spammer of stupid emails spread like Covid-19 virus around the Internet.
Thousands of emails from eric@talkwithwebvisitor.com are sent non-stop for months.
Prominent email abuse tracker, Stop Forum Spam has recorded reports of more than 2,500 individual emails from numerous IP addresses that send the same moronic email out. And this is just the tip of the iceberg!
In August, the “Talk with web visitor” spammers moved away from Dynadot to DirectNic, potentially after lots of abuse reports reached Dynadot. Well done, Dynadot!
Eventually, DirectNic also gave them the boot, and the serial spammers are now finding refuge at Cloudflare.
The latter also provides proxy DNS services to these persistent spammers, hiding their web site’s real IPs and thus preventing abuse reports from being sent to their web hosting provider.
Cloudflare is now going to become the recipient of ire from anyone geteting spammed by these phucksticks, Talkwithwebvisitor, also known as talkwithcustomer.com.
Here’s a typical email that they send out, often filling out contact forms on web sites:
Hey there, I just found your site, quick question…
My name’s Eric, I found [redacted].com after doing a quick search – you showed up near the top of the rankings, so whatever you’re doing for SEO, looks like it’s working well.
So here’s my question – what happens AFTER someone lands on your site? Anything?
