Warning: Stolen domains.
Two domains of Arabic interest have been reported as stolen; both ASAD.com and Abdullah.com were taken away from their legitimate owner, Abdullah S. Jafari.
The Texas resident seems to have lost ownership of the domains in the past 30 to 40 days.
Both domains were up for sale on NamePros, by a newly registered account from Russia.
The tip about this theft arrived by a DomainGang commentator.
NamePros moderators have confirmed that the domains have been stolen, by contacting their legitimate owner.
Several domain investors were ready to spend as much as $3,200 to acquire Abdullah.com.
It’s the second time in as many days that premium, stolen domain names have been peddled for sale by Russian cybercriminals on NamePros.
In all three cases, the domain’s contact information was using a Yahoo! email address, and the domains were with Network Solutions prior to being transferred out to a domain registrar in Russia.
