The .ART domain registry is releasing from its reserve a new set of 3,035 premium domain names. The release includes many two- and three-character names, as well as popularly used generic words.
Says the press release we received:
This will result in minor price changes. .ART currently offers nine pricing tiers and will continue to do so. In order to accommodate the new, more valuable domains, we will create new tiers set at $5000 and $10000 accordingly.
Furthermore, two of the existing tiers will be eliminated. Price tiers $70 and $80 will merge, with all $80 domains moving to the $70 tier. Likewise, tiers $170 and $140 will merge too, with all $170 domains moving to the $140 tier.
All previously available domain names will remain at the existing price or will move down to a lower priced tier.
The release date is set for February 24, 2021 at 11:00 UTC and planned to coincide with Spring holiday season sales.
The names to be released and the new pricing tiers are available on the Centralnic console.
