Ashton Kutcher looking for 2, possibly 2 1/2 engineers.
Actor Ashton Kutcher is being followed by millions on a variety of social media, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Kutcher’s media company released the A.plus app two years ago, attempting to take better ownership of his millions of followers on Twitter via the use of an integrated messenger system.
Currently, Kutcher is looking to fill the position of several software engineers:
“A+, Ashton Kutcher’s new startup, is looking for a few developers to join a small team of engineers. We are going to transform the way that consumers discover the best products in the world, using reviews by friends and experts that you trust. We are looking for a full-stack developer, an iOS developer, and an Android developer. You will be some of the first engineers to join our team, and your work will have an audience of millions.”
There are some technical qualifications to be met, and the usual personal info to be provided, but most important seems to be the candidates’ social media profiles: Kutcher wants you to provide your personal url, linkedin url, github url, facebook id, twitter id – if you want to qualify for the job.
At an era that promotes social interaction online, we aren’t surprised that your future employer would like to take a peek at what you post online!
