A few months ago we announced that one of the greatest domain assets of the Castello Brothers, changed hands.
The prestigious Banana.com moved to China, and the sale had been under a non disclosure agreement (NDA).
As Michael Castello commented in that post:
“We are making a deal now that will blow the lid off the place. The NDA is short but the full price WILL be revealed.”
David made a similar comment yesterday, at The Domains, in a thread discussing Frank Schilling’s reference to the gTLD marathon:
“We’ll make an announcement of a massive Castello Brothers sale on March 1st that will have more than a few positive repercussions in this industry.”
Could this be the big domain news that Michael Castello hinted of back in November 2013?
Stay tuned! 😀
Check your link, Michael made this quote, not me: ““We are making a deal now that will blow the lid off the place. The NDA is short but the full price WILL be revealed.”
David – Oops, fixed that part. Can’t wait for March 1st 😀
I checked out Banana.com and there is a for sale link at the bottom of the page???
Looks like 62.com/ename.com has it listed and someone named yangxu is the registrant. It will be interesting to see how much the buyer paid and if it was just to add to their portfolio?? Maybe it’s time to get some of those Yen…Nice to see that market has moved from number.com’s to included premium English.com’s… Nice.
