Nancy Holdem and Audrey Peters graduated from the University of Central Florida this year; the 50th anniversary of the University has attracted many New Englanders to study down south.
Known as the CFL Twins, the two Connecticut natives majored in Communications, and are using their education to engage buyers and sellers of domain names quite successfully.
“I was like, what to do for the summer, and I thought that surely there is something better to do than put on a bikini and bake at the beach all day, it gets boring!” exclaimed Nancy Holdem.
“Audrey had this idea, to create a web site, so we dated those guys a few times and they build one for us!” she adds, referring to their “Chicks with .coms” web site.
The experimental web site turned viral on Facebook, after the UCF undergraduates who created the web site, boasted to their friends about their conquer.
“That was cool man, I was like, awesome bro, these chicks are graduates and we scored nines here, no doubt!” said Tommy H., a UCF student that codes PHP and Ruby on Rails. “They let us take pictures of them in bikinis and promised more action when the web site takes off, and man, it’s rocking right now on 9gag and Chive, so score!” adds Tommy H.
Meanwhile, Nancy and Audrey are promoting their availability to broker domain portfolios to older, wealthy men.
“That was the best idea I ever had, totally!” exclaims Audrey Peters. “There are lots of mature men that appreciate our looks and want to take us out on dates, so I was like, duh! We sell them domains and they get some pie on the side, YOLO!” added Audrey.
While some not so attractive female UCF students criticize this behavior as “pure prostitution“, the CFL Twins disagree.
“We don’t go all the way for domains, grrrosss! This is strictly business and so far we have sold 23 domains in three weeks for thousands of dollars. The girls that don’t like what we do, they are simply jealous!” exclaimed Nancy Holdem.
