China‘s technological growth is the joint result of decades-long corporate espionage, and homegrown ingenuity.

From a country of rice farmers to the world’s 2nd largest economy and a nuclear superpower, China has witnessed an impressive path in recent decades.

A Chinese bullet train traveling at 420 km/hour is one such great feat, but two trains, traveling in opposite directions for a relative, combined speed of 840 km/hour is quite impressive.

The two trains, “Golden Phoenix” and “Dolphin Blue,” crossed on lines between Zhengzhou in the central Henan Province and Xuzhou in the eastern Jiangsu Province.

No crash was reported, so that’s great news.

Meanwhile, the Chinese domain chips market is close to crashing, as prices are dropping below the $1,500 threshold once again.

Volume is dropping too, as we’re halfway through summer. Chinese domain investors usually spend money at the beginning and end of the year, it seems.

We keep track of domain sales of short domains, between 2 to 4 characters in length. The TLDs we monitor are .CN, .COM and .NET.

Here’s today’s list of domains, starting off with a single domain sold by domain investor Elequa:

gtgy.com

That’s a borderline “Chip” as “Y” is sometimes a vowel, and other times a consonant. 😉
