The Chinese domain market is connected to China’s economy; recent shake-ups at the stockmarket have the potential to disrupt domain sales.
And yet, the Chinese domain investors’ appetite for short domains does not seem to end.
We keep track of domain transactions occurring in China, and some of the data is provided by BenMi, China’s premier domain transactions tracker.
In the past 24 hours we’re witnessing a drop in the number of such sales, but that’s typical as Chinese domainers prefer to perform their transactions at the beginning of the week.
Here’s a list of short domains – two or three characters in length – that changed hands in the last 24 hours:
259.cn
569.cn
685.cn
9y.com
cgz.com
cyx.com
