China is a booming economy, with one of the highest growth rates in the world.
Technology is driving the Chinese market, and although China is still very agricultural, it’s becoming increasingly consumerist.
Thanks to the “Communist Capitalism” model, China is the 2nd largest economy in the world.
The Chinese government announced recently that it will extend its permanent residency program in Beijing, to skilled tech workers that are not Chinese, or from the Mainland.
According to China Daily, Beijing will give priority to what it calls “innovative and entrepreneurial talent”, which includes startups with a certain level of investment, investors and investment companies, high-tech companies and market leaders in the cultural industry.
Meanwhile, the Chinese domain market has taken off, one day after we talked about its flat-lined outlook!
All thanks to a bunch of numeric domains that changed hands, along with the usual volume of domain chips. We all know how valuable numbers are to the Chinese!
We keep track of short domain transactions, between 2 to 4 characters, and for the .CN, .COM and .NET TLDs.
