Confirm.com is in the hands of domain investor Brent Oxley, a serial collector of premium domains.
The sale occurred via the Sedo brokerage service, and Sedo confirmed the sale today:

Confirm.com was registered in 1996 and it currently forwards to Brent Oxley’s standard landing page, which is a form for interested parties to fill out. Oxley seems to like giraffes for some reason, as they are included in the background image of the contact form.
There was no indication about the selling price of Confirm.com by Sedo, that completed at the beginning of October.
