Medical scientists in Cyprus have identified a new Covid-19 strand, dubbed “Deltacron.” The portmanteau of Delta and Omicron was chosen because of the identification of “omicron-like genetic signatures within the delta genomes.”
Enterprising domain investors licking their chops over the possibility of registering a new domain name will be disappointed, as the matching domain is already registered.
Deltacron.com is an existing company and brand, Deltacron is a Canadian company. From their web site:

Someone registered Deltacron.org on December 15th, 2021, either out of sheer luck, or perhaps before the news broke out of Cyprus. Scientists don’t expect that the Covid-19 variant will travel far, as Omicron is the predominant strain.
Still, Deltacron Technologies is bound to enjoy an increase in type-in traffic, much like Omicron.com did.
