Good evening, my brothers and sisters in Domaining.
This is Father Domainicus with a casual yet important Sunday sermon.
As you know, Daryl Dean Dickleberry – known as Daryl the Drunk Domainer – passed away two days ago. Today was his funeral, which I attended.
Daryl was a wonderful young man, with a promising future; and yet, he lost it all because of his excitement over selling DrunkDomainer.com – his only domain – hours before his untimely demise.
Daryl’s ashes were scattered in the Florida Gulf waters, to avoid the gathering of thousands of domainers at his tomb and the annual pilgrimage that would cause mass traffic on Interstate 4.
It’s better this way.
On another note, it’s time for moderation, my children.
A lot of insane commentary has been exchanged back and forth on Rick Schwartz’s blog. Some impostor uses the name “Domain Lords” (notice the plural) in reference to the one and only Domain Lord – our Savior and Protector of all domainers.
Rick Schwartz started moderation by locking down that insane comment exchange. Finally, a sign of leadership – exercised by Rick, which our Church applauds and supports.
Wherever you are and whatever you do, use moderation as the key to your success and happiness in life. Moderation saves lives, and saves our sanity on blogs as well.
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday night,
~Father Domainicus
