Good Sunday afternoon, my domainer brothers and sisters; this is Father Domainicus, and today I have a special message to deliver to all.
As you may already know from my previous sermons, Brother Frank Schilling and Brother Rick Schwartz are two pillars of our Domain Church, and along with Brother Dr. Kevin Ham – a.k.a “The Man Who Owns the Internet” – they form the Holy Triad of Domaining.
During the better part of the past two millennia, our Domain Church has remained volatile to heresies, deviations from the Word and the Path presented by our Domain Lord.
We are living in exciting times, with the introduction of gTLDs and other such minute fine-tunings of the DNS. Back in the dark ages of domaining, this type of conversation would have resulted in the excommunication and burning at the stake of the offender, for heresy and witchcraft.
Both Brothers Frank and Rick are wise men of the cloth, with thousands of domains under their direct control. We should listen to their respective preachings with an attentive ear, and an open heart.
While Brother Rick is closer to the Book, Brother Frank possesses a wonderful vision about the next evolutionary stage of our Domain Church. As such, we can preserve the old teachings and enrich them with a brand new chapter in domain investing, as envisioned by Brother Frank Schilling.
Keep in mind that changes don’t happen overnight, as it has taken many a man hour for the cartographers of ICANN to put ink onto the parchment that defines the gTLD bylaws. There will be confusion at first, but a new beginning and a new era in domaining is dawning upon us all!
Therefore, I ask you to refrain from demonizing Brother Frank’s vision of a shifted dot, and to embrace his teachings with a warm heart and a loving disposition – all while keeping your feet on the ground with Brother Rick’s teachings about the .com supremacy.
Leaving you with a brotherly hug that lasts just long enough to encourage you for the difficult week ahead, without any awkward lingering. Amen.
Passionately yours,
~Father Domainicus.
