A new Gmail feature was introduced by the almighty Google today, and it sounds like one big party at your house – without being asked.
Starting this week, when you’re composing a new email, Gmail will suggest your Google+ connections as recipients, even if you haven’t exchanged email addresses yet.
Say what?
Don’t panic, those that have added you in their Google+ circles, even if you didn’t reciprocate, cannot view your email address – although, to be honest, it’s highly guessable.
However, this feature opens wide the opportunity to expand one’s list of recipients, a move that will generate more traffic for Google+ and the war for supremacy in social media continues.
And now for the good news: although your Gmail settings will enable this feature by default, you can easily change the settings to undo this change.
Who said Google isn’t evil?
