ICANN announced the scheduled maintenance of its Centralized Zone Data Service (CZDS) web site later tonight; the same web site that went offline for almost three days recently.
The Centralized Zone Data Service web site provides its users with access to the daily numbers of gTLD domains.
Each individual Registry grants or denies access to their particular zone files, and CZDS is a centralized platform for the task.
The message is as follows:
Dear CZDS user,
The Centralized Zone Data Service (CZDS) website will undergo planned maintenance activities from 22:00 UTC 9 May 2014 – 00:00 UTC 10 May 2014.
During the maintenance window, the CZDS website will be unavailable. Users attempting to access the website during this time will be presented with a scheduled maintenance notification page.
Please contact ICANN Customer Service with any questions or concerns at: customerservice@icann.org.
Regards,
ICANN
Let’s hope that nothing will go wrong this time! 😀
