Cybersecurity firm, Krebs Stamos Group, was formed two weeks ago by online security professionals Chris Krebs and Alex Stamos.
The cybersecurity founders possess a long list of achievements under their respective belts; Stamos is a former chief security executive for Yahoo! and Facebook, while Krebs is the former director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency under Trump. The former US president fired Chris Krebs for refuting his claims of election fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
According to Chris Krebs, the concept behind the Krebs Stamos Group is simple: help businesses manage cybersecurity risk as business risk, making the internet a safer place in the meantime.
Their choice of a domain comes in two letters: KS.group, in a gTLD managed by Donuts: dot .group.
Most two letter domains that we’ve seen in the dot .group gTLD arrive with a $25,000 dollar price tag. That price is still visible on Afternic, so we can assume that the domain was sold directly by Donuts as a premium domain name.
Afternic lists a minimum asking price of $18,750 dollars for the domain, but we believe that full price was paid.
