A glowing review about Dan.com describes a fun moment in domain investing: A man buying back the domain name he used to own.
According to the Dan.com review, some years ago, Mr. Tom Mooney owned a domain that somehow expired. Mr. Mooney wanted to re-open his business, using the same domain name, and when he saw it listed for sale on Dan.com he bought it back. 😀
Apparently, Mr. Mooney is very happy:
Bought my Domain from Dan.com representatives sent emails everystep of the way thru transaction impressive . I dont buy Domains but i had owned the Domain i purchased some years ago. I wanted it back im reopening a busines and there it was .I had have it made offer and got quick reply and emails thru each step of the way until transaction was complete .
It’s great seeing a prior owner of a domain name that expired (and/or dropped) maintain such a positive attitude.
Although we’re not sure how much it cost to get the domain back, it’s refreshing to see this type of commentary on Dan.com reviews, as opposed to this scathing one.
