He also acquired the domain name Kim.com for an unspecified amount of money, rumored to have been in the upper $xx,xxx range.
The 17 year old domain name Kim.com was handed over to Kim Dotcom around October 14, 2007 – according to historical data from the top WHOIS tool DomainTools.
Kim Dotcom formed Vestor Ltd., an umbrella corporation to acquire several such domain assets.
