Name Administration reportedly sold the domain Note.com

Name Administration, Inc., the domain portfolio manager of Frank Schilling‘s domains, has reportedly sold Note.com.

The ultra premium dictionary domain had a listing price of $1.3 million, according to domain sleuth, Jamie Zoch.

The dotWeekly publisher said:

Name Administration Inc. has sold Note(.)com . The premium 4 letter generic #domain name held a buy now of $1.3 Million at the time of the sale but the exact sales price is unknown. #note Buyer appears to be from Tokyo, whois is privacy. #niceone

Indeed, the domain is hosted on an IP address in the Amazon cloud, and it displays a “hello from tokyo” message – other domains sharing the same address are predominantly of Japanese interests:

Sometimes, Names Administration reports on past sales of domain names but not until several months have passed.

In the 1990s and early 2000s, Note.com was registered in the name of David Beroff of Note Worthy Service, Inc. – a Pennsylvania company. In 2006, Note.com was moved under Rick Latona’s DigiPawn service, before ending up in the Name Administration portfolio a year later.
