The Winter Olympics in Sochi are far from over, but one domain registrar has reasons to celebrate; Name.com won gold in men’s bobsleigh today.
After training hard for the Olympics by indulging in Canadian bacon and shotgunning beer, Name.com marketing guru, Vic Dixon, flew through the bobsleigh course at a mind-boggling 97.8 miles per hour.
Dixon beat the Russians by a shocking 8.4 seconds, the biggest loss of Russia in the sport since the demise of USSR.
“It was beautiful. My man nuts were pressed hard against the polyurethane seat after hitting 5 G’s at the first half, but then sweat and other bodily fluids rushed in and made me feel better. It was a homerun after that, baby!” said Vic Dixon, who shaved his head to be more aerodynamic. The downside: some confuse him with Jared Ewy, janitor for Name.com.
“Although Name.com sponsored team New Zealand, as an American company we avenged the loss to eNom for the Super Bowl bet. Suck it, eNom, wooohoo, go go go!” exclaimed Dixon, visibly excited.
Congratulations to Vic Dixon and the Name.com bobsleigh team for winning – that’s all that matters.
The pre-race warm-ups were recorded in a video, presented below.
