It’s domain rebranding time for popular domain sales tracker, Namebio. The successful tracker of every domain sale that has occurred since 1948 is moving on with a new name: NameDaddio.
“It’s time to re-invent our name and get a fresh new brand that’ll last for several decades, just like GoDaddy,” said Namebio founder, Michael Sumner.
“We looked at data from 2.4 billion domain sales currently in our 24 databases, including Chinese acquisitions, registrations by newbie NamePros members, and stealth purchases by brokers who claim to live in Dubai,” said Sumner, adding: “NameDaddio is the McDaddy of all domain name brands!”
Proof of the domain rebranding by Namebio can bee seen in the following web browser capture of their beta service, that can be found at secretbeta.namedaddio.com.
The new NameDaddio mascot is Steve, a senior domainer who discovered the beauty of domain investing in his late 60s.
